Gallery

Hand tinted version of a photograph by Telles, published by F. A. Martins, Camões, 35 -- Lisboa.
Originally issued in Black and White only with a space for correspondence on front side. Address only on back. Postcards with both address and correspondance on the back were only authorised from 1904 onwards.

Faustino António Martins

This postcard shows the view into the Music Room from the end of the corridor. Bombay armchair, Persian rugs and a leopard skin. Light fittings hanging from Corridor. The Chandelier in the Music Room has already changed.

Plants in corridor: Cordyline australis in terracotta pot. Just visible are what look like young tree ferns growing in Azulejo jardineres.
