Asplenium hemionitis


Asplenium hemionitis Linn. original illustration from Curtis's Botanical Magazine. Watercolour and pencil on paper. According to W.J. Hooker, this species inhabits shady places in woody regions of North-western Africa, as far south as St. Nicholas, in the Cape de Verdes, the Azores, the Canaries, Madeira, and Spain and Portugal.
