Photograph by Alberto Carlos Lima (d. 1949) from early years of 2oth century. Taken from a point in the Fern Valley (Possibly the top of the cascade). The palacio is visible, though unfortunately over-exposed. See also the Thuja lobbii - very tall, and well developed young Araucaria bidwilli on the lawn. Tree Ferns are growing in the dell.
